First recorded in 2015 at Middletown in the east of the county.

Wingspan :   M & F 9-10mm.

Confusion species

The adults of this genus are more difficult to separate, and genitalia examination is usually necessary to identify them

Wherever the foodplant is found.

Blackthorn.

Lifestage data

Leaf miner. Eggs on underside of leaf. Larva has short gallery into an angular blotch. Pupates in folded leaf or leaf litter.
